Why we picked it

A choice for shared reading or a growing reader, depending on confidence and interest. Read together whenever the vocabulary or length feels demanding.

Make it a moment

• Pause to notice a colour, shape or tiny detail.
• Take turns reading, or let an adult handle unfamiliar words.

Original editorial notes by Little Leaf. Age suggestions describe how to share the book, not a promise of independent reading ability.
